March 10, 2020 ( Nyala) a prison officer was killed by gunmen in the city of Nyala, South Darfur.
The inccident occured while he was driving his rakshow on Monday evening.
State prison director, Brigadier Salah El-Din Abdallah told Darfur 24, that a corporal from South Darfur prison police was driving a rakshow on Monday evening when he was attacked.
“The gunmen shot the policeman and stabbed him with a knife and ran away with his Rakshow” said Brigadier Salah El-Din Abda .
There have several attacks on Rakshow drivers over the past few days, in Almatar neighourhood of Nyala city.
Salah El-Din Abdallah stated that citizens of the neighborhood reported the incident to the police and the patrol forces arrived at the site and identified the victim, but he died before reaching hospital.
