April  13, 2020 (Khartoum) Sudan’s Federal Ministry of Health has recorded  ten new cases of coronavirus , bringing  total number of confirmed cases to 29, including four deaths.

The ministry said in a press release Monday, that nine of the cases were recorded  in Khartoum state, while only one case was recorded in the state of  Nile River .

The Supreme Committee for Health Emergencies has  decided to  lockdown  Khartoum State, starting next Saturday for a period of 3 weeks.

The decision to lockdown the capital khartoum, comes against the backdrop of the  increasing  number of people affected by Covid-19 pandemic to 29 cases.

The  Committee has left the shutdown order in the other cities to state governments to decide.
