September 15, 2020 (Khartoum) Lieutenant Colonel Ali Rizkallah, known
a s “Al-Safna”, who was arrested with the Musa Hilal goup has refused
to appear before a military court inside the General Command of the
armed forces.
Zuhur Harun Hassabo, the wife of Lieutenant Colonel Al Safna, told
Darfur 24, that her husband had refused to go to today’s session in
protest against the continuation of the sessions and considered this
to be a procrastination by the complainant.
Lieutenant Colonel Al-Safna and a number of his companions were
arrested on 11/11/2017 in Mount Toro, North Darfur, after armed
battles between an armed force he commanded and the Rapid Support
Forces.
Al-Safana faces five counts, the criminal law, premeditated murder,
desertion, failure to obey instructions and coordination with the
enemy, in addition to the charge of rebellion against the state.
