Police arrested Saturday, Salah Manna, a member of the Empowerment Removal Committee ERC.
However, his arrest came at the backdrop of a complaint filed against him by the Sudanese Sovereignty Council.
Manna had earlier accused chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Al-Burhan and his deputy Hemeti of using their powers to release wife of the former president Omar Bashir from prison.
A source told Darfur 24, that police arrived at the headquarters of the Legislative Council in Khartoum state at noon today and took the committee’s reporter, Salah Manna, to the presmises of the State Security Prosecution, where he faces a number of charges
Manna said in a video posted on social media, “The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and his deputy, Hemedti, intervened to release the wife of the ousted president, Wedad Babiker, despite the corruption charges she faces”..
