State police commissioner, Hasab Alrasoul said south Darfur state police have arrested 200 gunmen and mobs among protesters in the state capital Nyala.
Speaking on radio Nyala, police commissioner said that all those arrested would be brought before emergency court on Thursday.
Hasab Alrasoul said south Darfur state police will continue day and night patrols in the market to curb looting and vandalism.
