Reliable sources in the Prime Minister’s Office have revealed that Rania Hadra has been appointed director of the Sudanese prime minister’s office, succeeding Ali Bakheet.

The appointment of Hadra, comes within the context of restructuring the Council of Ministers in general and the Prime Minister’s Office in particular.

The source learned that Rania worked on the staff of the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations, adding that Mr. Antonio Guterres was the one who nominated Rania for the postion  during the Prime Minister’s visit to New York.

The sources revealed that Rania contributed to legalizing the presence of UNITAMS in Sudan, through chapter VI, according to which the United Nations political diplomatic mission (UNITAMS) was authorized to work in Sudan.
