Today, Wednesday 25.12.2019, a delegation from the transitional government visited a number of Catholic churches in Khartoum State to extend congratulations to Christians on the occasion of Christmas.
The delegation was led by Representative of the Sovereign Council , Raja Nikola, Council member, Siddik Tawor, Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments Nasreddine Mufreh, and the Governor of Khartoum State, Lieutenant General Ahmed Abdoun Hammad.
The visit included the Catholic Church headed by Bishop Michael Didoy and the Evangelical Church in Khartoum North locality headed by Reverend Hafez and the Episcopal Church in Al –amarrat headed by Bishop Ezekiel Kendo.
The delegation appreciated the role of the Christian sect in Sudan in laying the foundations of peace and love, stressing that religion is for God while homeland is for everyone.
