Darfur 24-Nyala
The government of South Darfur said Wednesday, that renewed fighting between Fallata and Masalit tribes near the city of Gereida 85 kilometers south of the state capital Nyala on Monday, left 11 dead and 36 wounded.
In a statement seen by Darfur24, the state government expressed its regret and condemnation of the incident.
The statement affirmed that the security forces would carry out their duties with full force, treat both warring parties on equal footing , calling on the state residents to cooperate with the judicial apparatus to uproot the roots of sedition, resolve chaos, deter outlaws and impose rule of law.
