The prominent figure of the Sudanese communist party, Sidgi Kaballo has criticized Prime Minister Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, accusing him of  failing to implement mottos of the Sudanese revolution that toppled the former autocrat al-Bashir.

Addressing a seminar on localizing economic solutions, Kaballo said Dr. Hamdok was considered failure of the post-revolution period.

The Sudanese Revolution was a major shift of political power in Sudan that started with street protests throughout Sudan on 19 December 2018 and continued with sustained civil disobedience for about eight months, during which the 11 April 2019 Sudanese coup d’état deposed President Omar al-Bashir after thirty years in power.
