The government negotiating delegation headed by Lieutenant General Shams El-Din Al-Kabbashi handed over the government’s response to the draft framework agreement to the southern mediation delegation, which delivered it to the SPLM-North delegation headed by Commander Abdulaziz Al. -Hilu.
The Mediation team announced in press statements Monday that the negotiation sessions between the two parties will be suspended for 24 hours and will resume next Wednesday.
This morning, the negotiation session began between the transitional government led by a member of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Shams El-Din Al-Kabbashi, head of the government delegation and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement North led by Abdulaziz Al-Hilu at the Palm African Hotel in Juba to deliver the draft framework agreement for Southern Mediation.
