3.12.2021 (Nyala) Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, said he will fully cooperate with the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk for the success of the transitional period.
Al-Burhan called on the Sudanese people from all walks of life to support the government that Hamdok will form during the coming period.
Briefing UNITAMS Chief on the current political development in Sudan on Thursday , Al-Burhan said he will fully cooperate with the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamdouk for the success of the transitional period.
For his part, Volker Britts affirmed the United Nations’ interest in the success of the transitional period, considering that the November 21 agreement signed between Al-Burhan and Hamdok is an advanced step in the direction of national consensus among various segment of the Sudanese people.
Volcker called for the necessity of supporting the prime minister to form his government, stressing his confidence in Dr. Hamdok’s abilities to make the democratic transition a success.
