Khartoum, March 22(Darfur24) Police of the city of Meroe, in the northern state, on Monday, arrested a young man in his thirties accused of raping and killing a 7-year-old child with special needs and throwing his body into the Nile in the village of Al-Graif Nuri in the northern state.
A close relative of the child’s family told Darfur 24 that the family of the murdered child had filed a case under Article 45/b of the Child Law of 2010 and Article 130 of intentional murder at the Meroe Police Department in the middle of this month.
The relation revealed the arrest of the offender, a 30-year-old man from the influential people in the region, and he confessed to committing the crime
