El-Geneina April 29,(Darfur24)Three brothers and their uncle were killed in a shooting in the market of El Geneina, the capital of West Darfur state, today, Friday as armed men tried to loot their money.
Eyewitnesses told Darfur 24 that the three dead were merchants working in a market in the city called Al-Kalambo, so two armed people threatened them and asked them to hand over the money in their possession, and when they refused, they shot them.
Eyewitnesses stated that the three died before they were rescued, while the culprits are being chased
Meanwhile, the El Geneina market was closed, citizens rushed to their homes, transportation stopped, and security forces deployed in the streets as a precaution for the victims’ reaction.
