El-Daein, May 12 (Darfur24)Three people, two of one family, were
killed in a shooting between members of one family, in the context of
a family dispute that took place on Thursday morning, in Al-Jeddi area
of Al-Firdous locality, East Darfur.
The Executive Director of Al-Firdous locality, Hamdan Al-Masry, told
Darfur 24 that the conflict took place within one family because the
family accused one of its members of involvement with others in
stealing the family’s missing cows.
He added, during a session to deal with the conflict, the accused
young man became angry and shot his nephew and one of the mediators
from outside the family and then fled, before a joint force of the
police and rapid support pursued him and managed to kill him in one of
the village forests.

The three bodies were transferred to Alfiedous City Hospital for
autopsy and then completion burial procedures.
