Damazin, July 16(Darfur24) The Blue Nile State Security Committee has announced that the incidents that took place in a number of cities and villages of the region left 31 people dead, 39 injured and 16 shops damaged.

 

In a statement seen by Darfur24, the committee said that the incidents took place in the areas of “Roseires, Quneis, Qaisan, Bakouri, Amura and Umm Darfa.”

 

The State  security committee in the region declared a state of emergency, imposed  curfews and banned unnecessary gatherings in Damazin and Rusayris.

 

Communal Clashes erupted between the residents of these areas in the past two days and , Friday, against the backdrop of the killing of a farmer in the Amura area of Qaisan locality, according to a statement by the regional State security committee.
