El-Fashir, August 16(Darfur24) Three children were killed and two others were injured as RPG bomb exploded in the city of Umbro, 290 km north of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State.
Uncle of one of the wounded, Essam Adam Musa, told Darfur 24 that the children were playing in the yard of the neighborhood, which is located near the army garrison. They found the UXO, while they were playing with it, it went off , killing three and wounding two of them.
It is noteworthy that this is the second incident of its kind in North Darfur. Last July, El Fasher Hospital received eight children after the RBG bomb exploded in Zamzam IDP camp , causing them various injuries and fractures.
