February 4, 2020 (Elfashir) – Darfur 24 learned that one of the hospitals in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, received a sick person suspected of being infected with coronavirus.
The medical director of the hospital informed Darfur 24, that a patient came from China who had left on January 4, before the emergency period declared by the Chinese authorities ,She stated that the ailing person had a asthma disease and was likely to be carrying the deadly coronavirus..
Director General of the Ministry of Health in North Darfur said in a special statement to Darfur 24 that the patient’s condition is reassuring, however he stated that the patient is being isolated until the final examination results are verified by the central laboratory in Khartoum.
