El-Geneina, August 31( Darfur24) On Monday, 6 Chadian soldiers were killed in the border strip between Sudan and Chad in the areas adjacent to Wadi Saleh locality in Central Darfur state, in mysterious circumstances.

 Abdel-Ghani Harun, Arab herders community leader in Wadi Saleh locality in Central Darfur state, told Darfur 24 that Chadian gunmen using motorcycles attacked on Monday morning the village of Roto located 5 kilometers from the border with Chad.

Abdel-Ghani Harun pointed out that the attack left 6 Chadian militants dead. He added, “we informed the state government and all security services of the incident”.

Last July, the border between Sudan and Chad witnessed clashes between Chadian armed groups and Sudanese herders, leaving 29 dead and dozens wounded on both sides.
