Nyala, September 13(Darfur24) A free medical camp for the treatment of orthopedics and spinal surgery will begin today Tuesday, in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur under the auspices of the State ministry of health.
The three-day free medical camp is organized by the Ministry of Health to treat patients from all walks of life in South Darfur.
20 medical consultants and specialists from Khartoum are participating in the camp to perform about 50 free surgeries.
The state’s Ministry of Health said the free medical camp will pay the costs of patients traveling for treatment in Khartoum, given that such operations are not available in health institutions in South Darfur state.
