Nyala, October 24(Darfur24) The Ministry of Education and Guidance in South Darfur announced the suspension of studies at all educational levels from Monday, October 24 until Sunday, October 30.
The ministry said in a brief note seen by Darfur24- that the study will resume next Monday, but it did not indicate the reasons for suspending the study, however, observers attributed the schools closure to the government’s preparations to deal with the protest and processions that are being arranged to coincide with the first anniversary of the October 25 coup.
