Elfashir, October 26(Darfur24)  On October 17, family of the deceased filed a case against  four members of Minawi movement, under Article 130 of the Sudanese Criminal Code at the Um Kadada Police Department.

 

Brother of the murdered man  , Muhammad Yusuf Abdullah, told Darfur 24 that a quarrel occurred  in a café in the village of Umm Quzin between his brother, Khalifa Yusef and elements of the Sudan Liberation Movement  , however,  one  of  the movement’s members  stabbed his brother with  a sharp object killing him on spot.

Muhammad explained that they   filed a complaint against the four perpetrators, including two officers in the movement’s forces, “a captain named Ibrahim Issa Aman, and a lieutenant named Ahmed Dabanga,” the third non-commissioned officer named Saleh Adam Jali, and the fourth civilian, Ezz El-Din Ali Mandi.

 He stated that the police arrested the civilian  suspect, while the three soldiers refused  to police station to give their statements.

The director of the state police, Major General Nasr El-Din Saleh Mashawi, confirmed the incident, saying that one suspected was arrested while the three others still at large.
