Khartoum, November 5(Darfur24) On November 2, the trial court in Atbara issued a death sentence by hanging  for the second time against a soldier belonging to the Rapid Support Forces RSF, who was convicted of killing Khaled Muhammad, nicknamed “Al-Jaw” on June 30, 2019.

Khaled Muhammad was shot in the chest during his participation in the marches of June 30, 2019 in the city of Atbara, in rejection of the violations that occurred during the dispersal of the sit-in of the army Headquarters.

 

Lawyer Mohamed Mohieldin told Darfur 24 that the trial court issued a death sentence for the second time against the first accused, a member of the Rapid Support Forces,  his relatives 9 mother and wife) chose  retribution.

 

 On October 14, 2021, the trial court had issued a verdict convicting the first accused, “Mohammed Issa Haroun” from the Rapid Support Forces under Article 130 of the Criminal Code, which was supported by the Appeals Court, while the Supreme Court demanded that some papers be completed.

 

 The lawyer indicated that the papers were submitted to the Supreme Court to either  support the decision or refuse it.
