Elfashir, April 10 (Darfur24)The city of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state , is witnessing a heavy security deployment of the Rapid Support Forces RSF .

However,  RSF forces  of  the deputy head of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Mohamed Hamdan Daglo Hamidti, struck a security cordon at the entrances to the city in an unprecedented military built-up .

Darfur 24 reporter in the state capital, Elfashir,  has monitored since Saturday the deployment of military four-wheel drive vehicles carrying RSF number plates at a number of entrances to El Fasher and in front of government institutions.

Last week,  heavy security presence in the city sparked a state of fear and panic among the citizens.

On Monday morning,  heavy military vehicles  were seen  in front of the headquarters of RSFCommand, with full arming of personnel and guards in front of their headquarters, which is located west of the command of the Sixth Infantry Military Division.

Eyewitnesses told Darfur 24 that four-wheel drive vehicles have been roaming the streets of the city for more than three days, and are still deployed at the gates of strategic locations, government  institutions  and the headquarters of the Rapid Support Forces.

There is a  disagreement between the commander of the Rapid Support Forces and the supreme commander of the army, Lieutenant General Al-Burhan, after the political process faltered due to differences in the security and military reform file, in which the military institution demanded the integration of the support forces within a two-year period.
