Khartoum, May 6(Darfur24) Today, Saturday, the Director-General of the World Health Organization WHO said that urgent medical aid for about 165,000 people arrived in Port Sudan from Dubai, and it is planned to be delivered to 13 health facilities.
The shipment, which weighs 30 tons and includes emergency surgical and trauma equipment, is the first to reach the country since the conflict erupted in mid-April.
But the distribution of this aid shipment will depend on “security and entry permits,” the World Health Organization said in a statement.
