A banker who preferred his name to be kept anonymous , told Darfur 24 that gunmen stormed the grand market of Nyala city, then looted huge amount of money from the banks and damaged the banks’ assets..

According to the banker, the looters targeted the bank of Khartoum, family bank and the Blue Nile El-masherg bank..

Armed gunmen, coming from outside the city of Nyala , have scattered in the city of Nyala, since eruption of fighting between the Sudanese army SAF and the Rapid Support Forces, wearing civilian clothes and turbans, driving 4 by 4 vehicles and motorcycles…
