Buran, Jan17(Darfur 24)On Sunday, 13 people were killed and dozens were displaced as a result of a tribal conflict between the Habbaniya and Abu Darq in Al-Radom locality in South Darfur state.

Abdullah Muhammad Adam, a citizen of the city of Buram, told Darfur 24 that last Sunday, tribal clashes broke out between armed men from the Habbaniya and others from the Abu Darq tribe in the village of Umm Khairin in Al-Radom locality, South Darfur.

He added that as a result of the violence, 11 people were killed and seven others were injured. He pointed to the displacement of dozens of residents to the village of Wadhjam.

Last November, the region witnessed armed clashes between the Habbaniya and Salamat tribes inside the city of Buram, which led to the deaths of dozens.
