Millet, Jan 28(Darfur24)6 people were killed and 7 others were injured as a members of Darfur Armed Struggle Movements ASM clashed with fighters from the Zayadiyya tribe in the town of Mellit, 65 km north of El Fasher, the provincial capital of North Darfur State on Friday evening.

A medical source at Mellit Rural Hospital told Darfur 24 reported that the clashes left 6 people dead on the spot, while 7 of the wounded were transported to the Malha locality (57 km) northeast of Mellit, as the hospital was located within the area of the clashes, preventing medical personnel from arriving quickly.
