El Fasher, Jan28(Darfur 24) Darfur 24 learned from reliable military sources in the Sudan Liberation Assembly Forces movement about the emergence of a strong trend within the movement to remove Al-Tahir Hajar from the presidency.

The sources told Darfur 24 that extensive consultations were held within the movement’s leadership to isolate Hajar due to accusations of coordination with the Rapid Support Forces, which are accused of committing crimes against humanity in Darfur and abandoning the movement’s goals related to protecting civilians.

The sources attributed the delay in issuing the dismissal decision to the lack of consensus about the new candidate for the position of president
