February 9, 2020 (Al-Geneina) Three girls aged between 14 and 17 were raped in the displaced camp of Krinding in Al-Geneina, West Darfur.
A social workers, said to Darfur 24 that three girls aged 14 to 17 years, revealed to his team that they had been raped inside the camp.
The raped girls were later transferred to Al-Geneina teaching hospital for medical examination.
Rape victims and their families in Darfur, fear the consequences of reporting cases to the authorities.
In a related development, IDPs of Krinding Camp had fled to El-Geneina where they settled in government buildings and schools , following the recent intercommunal violence that resulted in killing of many people as well as the burning the camp.
