March 26. 2020 (Khartoum) Sudan has condemned the killing of 92 Chadian soldiers by the Boko Haram terrorist organization. However, the Chadian soldiers were slaughtered in an armed attack launched on the Chadian army position in the Boma Peninsula in the Lake District. Sudan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attack as terrorist act , confirming that Sudan stands fully beside Chad in its battle against the threat of terrorism and extremist groups that threaten security, peace and stability in Lake Chad and the entire region.”The clashes between Chadian soldiers and Boko Haram militants led to the killing of 92 chadian soldiers and wounding 47 others” said Chadian president. The Sudanese Foreign Ministry called for concerted regional and international efforts to confront and eliminate the threat of terrorist and extremist groups in the region.
