April  11, 2020 (Khartoum) Sudan’s Ministry of Health has announced that it has  recorded  two new cases of Coronavirus in the capital, Khartoum.

The ministry said in a press statement on  Friday evening  that the epidemiological reports of the Federal Health had recorded two new  infections  of Coronavirus, lifting total  number of confirmed cases to 17 as of Friday, April 10.

The Epidemiological reports indicated that case number 16, is a Sudanese man in his fifties, coming from Thailand via the UAE on March 21.

As for case  17, is a Sudanese in his sixties who has no travel history outside the country. Investigation procedures have  proven that he has not  been in contact with an infected person.

According to the statement, the two patients receive the necessary medical care at the isolation center, while, Epidemiological reports indicate that the total suspected cases have reached 238.
