April 22, 2020 (Zalengei) An armed group has attacked the village
of Tamr Bol Jamal in the Central Darfur State , killing 3 people, wounding 9 others and setting the whole village on fire.
A resident from the village named, Musa Fadl told Darfur 24 that the incident occurred after a 10-year-old girl had fallen in a well near
the village of Tamr Bol Jamal.
” family of the deceased girl accused the villagers of intentionally killing their daughter and throwing her into the well, but the village residents denied their involvment in the killing of the girl.” Musa
fadul Added.
Musa said that the two sides had entered into altercations that developed into a shooting that resulted in the death of 3 people and the wounding of 9 others. Some of them serious injured , and they
were later transferred to Zalingei Hospital for treatment.
Meanwile , West Darfur State Citizens expressed their concern over the cycle of killing incidents , looting and repeated attacks that have recently been taking place in the state of Central Darfur , and
demanded the state government to arrest the perpetrators and bring them to a fair trial as well as providing security for the people of the state.
