August 15, 2020(Khartoum) Sudan’s Ministry of Health epidemiological report showed on Thursday that 15 out of 18 Sudanese states had not recorded new infections of Coronavirus.
According to the report which was seen by Darfur 24, 49 new cases were recorded, including 44 cases in the national capital Khartoum, two cases in the state of Al-Jazira, and three cases in the Northern
state, raising Covid-19 cases in to 12211.
Three fatalities were reported in the country on Thursday, bringing death toll to 796 since the pandemic was first emerged in the eastern African country.
6340 people have recovered since the disease was first reported in Sudan last March. The ministry said in a statement.
