April 27, 2020 (Khartoum) A large segment of the population in the
western Sudanese region of Darfur, fear the spread of Coronavirus
,after recording two cases in eastern and central Darfur.
Moreover, the troubled region of Darfur has been suffering for years
from a fragile health situation due to the war, which increases fears
of a health catastrophe in the event of a Coronavirus outbreak.
However, the Ministry of Health in Sudan confirmed in its latest report that it had recorded two new cases of the respiratory disease caused by coronavirus in the cities of Zalingei, central Darfur, and Al-Daein, east Darfur.
