May 13, 2020 (Nyala) The mediation committee for reconciliation
between Fallata and Rizeigat tribes, have disclosed that an agreement
on cessation of hostilities will be inked on Wednesday, May 13, 2020
in Tulus, South Darfur.

Head of Rizeigat tribe  delegation , Mohamed Issa Alyio, told Darfur
24  that the most important provisions of the document would be the
formation of a mechanism from both tribes to improve the social fabric
and  incriminate the  perpetrators, as well as agreeing to convene a
reconciliation conference and recommendations for reforming what was
destroyed by the recent fighting.

However, bloody conflicts had occurred last week , between Fallata
and Rezeigat , resulting in the killing of 50 people from both tribes,
and  looting of  nearly 20 thousand cattle,  according to
non-governmental sources.
