May 25, 2020 (Nyala) The Rapid Support Forces( RSF)  deployed about
100 combat vehicles  to a number of areas in Um Dafouk  locality
that borders  the  republic of south Sudan.
However, the forces  deployment came amid growing  tribal tensions
between  Taisha and Falata tribes in the disputed area between the
town of Umm Dafouk and Tulus.

Deputy commander of the deployed forces, Major General Issam Aldin
Salim, said he met leaders of both tribes and they denied any presence
of armed people from the two tribes in the disputed area.
Essam El-Din Fadil said  his forces  tour in the areas of Umm Dafouk
came at the direction of the leadership of the state, which was
informed of rumors of tensions that might lead to a tribal conflict
between Fallatah and Taisha.
