May 31, 2020 (Nyala) Health authorities in South Darfur State have revealed that %50 of coronavirus patients in the state, have recovered.
“10 people have recovered over the past three days, bringing total number of recoveries to 19 cases, since the virus began spreading in the state” the ministry said in a statement.
State ministry of health has recorded one new COVID-19 infections, lifting total number of cases to 35.
Meanwhile, South Darfur state government decided to ease precautionary measures and the partial lockdown imposed two weeks ago.
“State government will start implementing the partial lockdown in the city of Nyala, taking into account the living conditions of citizens, provided that they adhere to health guidelines, especially wearing masks and social distancing” South State governor said.
South Darfur localities affected by the pandemic as follows: “Nyala North, Nyala South locality 15 cases, Nyala North locality 16 cases, Gereida Localities two cases, in addition to one case in both Ed AlForsan and Kass Localities.
