The death toll of  the attack on the town of Mestri on Saturday
morning, rose to 35  and dozens wounded, according to leaders of
native administrations from  the two warring tribes  who spoke to
Darfur 24.

The town, which is located 80 kilometers south of  Al-Geneina, the
capital of West Darfur, remained throughout the day under  bombing of
the gunmen since the dawn hour until  sunset.
The attack was in revenge for the killing of a woman and her two
children near the area.
Special sources pointed out that the battles continued until sunset,
within the residential neighborhoods, and columns of smoke were seen
rising.
