August 6, 2020 (Khartoum) Transitional Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulla Hamdouk, on Thursday, received telephone call from US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
The two sides reviewed the progress of removing Sudan from the US list of state sponsors of terrorism.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that his country would soon remove the name of Sudan from American list of state sponsors of terrorism.
The US administration confirmed, earlier this week, that it was determined to remove Sudan from the list
For his part, Prime Minister Hamdouk, expressed his delight with the contact, saying he was looking forward to seeing name of Sudan removed from the terror list soon.
