September 11, 2020(Khartoum) Government authorities in East Darfur, have agreed to release 23 of those convicted of the emergency law with a written pledge not to commit a criminal offense in front of the
Native Administration and 25 of the debtors, after the Zakat Bureau undertook to pay their debts.

The Wali of East Darfur, Dr. Mohamed Issa Aliyo, told Darfur 24, that they have begun arrangements for  releasing  o 23 emergency convicted prisoners and more than 25 debtors.

“There are procedures underway to complete the release of prisoners within two days” concluded Aliyo.
