August 10, 2020 (Khartoum) Sudan’s ministry of health has announced 63 new cases of COVID-19 in the country, raising total number to 11956.

8 new fatalities have been recorded in the east African country, lifting death toll to 781 since outbreak of the pandemic in Sudan.

“23 people have recently recovered from the killer disease, bringing total recoveries to 6266 since COVID-19 was first emerged in the country” The ministry said in a statement.

Breakdown of the new cases: Khartoum state 50 cases, followed by Northern state 4, Algadarif 2 and Aljazeera2.
