March 19, 2020 (Nyala) Clans of  Rizeigat tribe in South Darfur have signed a document of tolerance and reconciliation ending  a conflict that erupted between the two sides last January.

The two parties reached an agreement on wedensday, to end the conflict after endeavors by a native adminstration committee, tasked by the second commander of the  Rapid Support Forces , Lieutenant General Abd al-Rahim Dagalo.

In a related development, head of mediation and reconcilation Committee, Mayor Abdallah Abu Nuba, said that the conflict between the Awlat Mansour and Awlat Qaid had resulted in the killing of 5  people. Howwhile Abu Nuba ,  commended   the wise behaviour of the Rapid Support Forces and the leaders of the native administration  for finding solution to the problem.

Representative of the Rapid Support Forces, Colonel Yusef Al-Ballula, expressed his readiness to support to support any  efforts that lead  the resolution of the  conflict that occurred in the Hajir Tonu area last week, resulting in the  killing of nearly 14 people.

For his part, the Governor of South Darfur, Major General Hashim Khalid, said that the inrercommunal  conflicts that erupt in  the state from time to time are causing the state to stagnate, and mentioned that the December Revolution came to address such problems to open the door for the country to move towards development.
