August 23, 2020 (Khartoum)  Sudanese Prime Minister, Dr. Abdullah Hamdok, has acknowledged that differences between the civilian and military components of the government,   threaten the transitional period.

During a televised address to the  Sudanese people on Saturday evening, to mark  the first anniversary of the formation of the government, he said  that the partnership of  military and civilians, may not be considered the best, but it remains a realistic model to end the state of political stalemate, and the start of a foundational stage for the new Sudanese state.

“Maintaining and developing this partnership is one of the important guarantees for the success of the transitional period and the achievement of the revolution’s goals” Abdallah Hamdouk added.

The transitional Prime Minister believed that the FFC  differences had resulted in a sharp polarization that created partisan and organizational entrenchment, stressing that FFC  Coalition need effective mechanisms to manage its differences with flexibility and without fanaticism.

The former UN staff, warned that government of the glorious December Revolution is currently facing another type of struggle, which is to follow the path of development and democratic transformation, after
the stage of struggle that culminated in the overthrow of the defunct salvation regime led by ousted Omar al-Bashir.

Hamdouk called on the Resistance Committees to think creatively about
the path of the revolution, and to invest their energies to face the
challenges of construction and reconstruction, patience with wisdom in
managing the dialogue towards the goals that bring together the
components of the government.
