September 21, 2020 (El-fasher)Ministry of Health in Sudan’s North Darfur State announced the registration of 18 suspected polio cases , a month after the country monitored more than 10 confirmed cases of
the disease.
Director of the Expanded Immunization Department, Yusef Abdel-Wahab Adam, said in a press brief on Monday, that his administration had recorded within a week, 18 suspected cases of the virus in a number of
the state’s localities.
However, the World Health Organization had previously announced a new outbreak of polio in Sudan
