September 24, 2020 (Elfashir)  Three displaced children drowned on Wednesday evening, in a canal of stagnant water near the Zamzam camp for displaced people, 15 km south of El Fasher, the capital of North
Darfur.

The three children who were visiting relatives , went out to swim in the water canal near the camp. One of them drowned, and while the two tried to save him, they all drowned. .

Eyewitness, Muhammad Hussein Adam, told Darfur 24 that the bodies of the three children were plucked from the depth of the water canal by the families and were taken to the camp police headquarters, and from there to the morgue of Al-Fasher Teaching Hospital to complete the
burial procedures.
