October 29, 2020 (Khartoum) Sudan’s Federal Ministry of Health announced Thursday that several officials of the transitional government had tested positive for Coronavirus.
The ministry said that chief advisor to the prime minister, Sheikh Al-Khidr, director of Prime Minister’s office, Ali Bakhit ,Governor of the Bank of Sudan, Muhammad Al-Fateh Zain Al-Abidin, have contracted the virus..
“The prime minister is negative, Al-Burhan and Mohamed Daglo are also negative, but several inside the Council are infected,” the ministry said. However, the ministry announced earlier today that the leader of the Umma Party, Sadiq al-Mahdi, had been infected with the Corona virus.
