December 15, 2020 (Khartoum) Sudan’s transitional Prime Minister, Dr. Abdallah Hamdok, said that on Monday evening, he received an official call from the US State Department, informing him officially that Sudan had been removed from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism.

Abdallah Hamdok said that this step which was achieved through struggles of the Sudanese people against dictatorship since 1989A will have positive effects on the life of the Sudanese citizen.

Hamdouk said removal of Sudan from the US terror list will open the door to Sudan’s return to the global banking system, and the handling of Sudan’s foreign debts that exceed $ 60 billion.

Hamdouk revealed in a press conference on Monday, the efforts exerted by the Sudanese negotiating team in America and its role in achieving the step of removing Sudan from the US terror list..

He stressed that the issue of normalization with Israel will be decided upon by the Legislative Council, which will be formed soon.
