Rampaging El-Geneina protesters  whose sit- in has  entered its sixth day  bring large parts of the city to a standstill..
Darfur 24 correspondent reported from El Geneina that the sit-in attributed to the Arab tribes entered its sixth day amid complete closure  of the city entrances.
Closure of the bridge linking the city of El Geneina with the rest of Sudan has led to the accumulation of commercial trucks, and the depletion of fuel tankers  in large numbers outside the city, a matter that  exacerbated the situation and led to an increase in the prices of consumer goods.

One of the organizers of the sit-in said  there are delegations coming from the states of Central, South and North Darfur in order to participate and show solidarity with the protesters.

Protesters are raising  a number of demands, the most prominent of which are the dismissal of the governor of West Darfur, dismantle  IDP camps that located in the vicinity of the city and  formation of an impartial investigation committee to investigate the recent tribal violence..
