Sudan police fire tear gas at protesters in Khartoum

 

September 23, 2021 (Khartoum) The Sudanese police press office said that one of the police vehicles was partially burnt on Thursday afternoon while the police forces dealt with rioters in the central Khartoum area.

In a statement seen by Darfur24 the police press office said   that there were injuries among the police, while the forces managed to control the fire that broke out in the vehicle as a result of throwing an explosive device.

Riot police  fired tear gas to disperse the protesters near Jackson Square in central Khartoum, where the press office confirmed that the police forces had dealt with the protesters until the moment of writing the statement.
