13.12.2021(El-Fashir) Displaced people IDP community leaders in Zamzam camp, in North Darfur, have accused the Rapid Support Forces RSF, of planning to transfer the recent Koulgi tribal fighting to Zamzam camp, south of El Fasher.
This accusation comes days after an ambush was set up by unknown persons on board a vehicle belonging to the nomadic Arabs on the road linking the Qlab area and Zamzam IDP camp for the displaced, killing 4 people and wounding others.
Government have deployed security forces in the vicinity of Zamzam IDP camp to curb shift of the conflict to the mentioned IDP camp.
A senior IDP community leader who preferred to withhold his name told Darfur 24 that “Zamzam camp is witnessing a frightening presence of government forces these days, which has created a kind of terror among the IDP”
